In response to week12 class, I worked on one of my premises: -The closet began to shake violently. After a loud bang, the fresh popcorn shot out of the closet.

I expanded this conversation to make a game background.
The game is set in a world where food is the backdrop. Seemingly ordinary and usual scenes produce unexpected game mechanics by attaching food ideas. Immerse the player in a food kingdom. Later players can also design their own game levels by imitating previously existing levels (similar to Mario Dream Works)

Bullet points:

  • Popcorn can be popped in the closet.
  • The room, plumbing is flowing with milk
  • The bed is made of marshmallows. It is warm in winter and cools in summer when the weather is hot and the marshmallows melt.
  • When the lamp broke, it left a puddle of honey, which attracted a swarm of bees.
  • The clothes are filled with cookie crumbs.
  • The pots are made of chocolate. All dishes are covered with layers of chocolate sauce.
  • The electric fan is made of peppermint candy and every gust of wind will be minty.


A similar game is Luigi's Mansion, in which players will take on the role of Luigi and embark on a thrilling adventure in the "Haunted Hotel". The hotel starts off in a magnificent way, but it is actually a haunted hotel decorated with ghosts and filled with all kinds of ghosts and ghouls. Players in the process of exploration, from time to time will be out of the ghost scared.
