THE BIG IDEA
A Puzzle game
GOAL
A moving train, the player has to find a way to stop the train.
GAMEPLAY
This is a free exploration game. Players can investigate various items in the room or interact with NPCs. First, the player needs to solve the puzzle and connect each clue to a story. After that, they can jump into the next section.
CONSIDERATIONS
The main frame of this theme is "Finding." The game's theme is that players play as an older lady who lost her memory, so players need to help the old lady to get her memory back. Players will enter the old lady's memory when they find key clues/solve a puzzle (e.g., passwords, keys). I hope the overall game style will be warm and healing.

This week our theme is interaction. Our group developed the premise idea of Devika, which is "A mysterious haunted house in which each room has a ghost/ object that comes to life and tells pieces of the story of its former inhabitants." After the discussion, we carried out the key points of the "train" and "puzzle game." I want to keep developing this idea this week, and I also drew some tools that may appear in the game. A similar work is "Little Nightmares", created by Tarsier Studios. In this game, players need to solve the puzzle to reach the goal and finally escape from the ship. But when it comes to the healing style, there is another example called "Gris", created by Nomada Studio, which is a game with a gorgeous style. The excellent style reflects the characters' emotions and experiences very nice.
In general, on the topic of interaction this week. I understand the basic interaction elements between the game and the player. But, at the same time, the plot is also an essential part of supporting the gameplay. Therefore, the interaction needs to relate to the story development. Otherwise, the player will feel disconnected.
