Animated Narratives - Week 6

Premise: Mike stares at the man covered in the shadow, grips the pistol in his jacket pocket, and says with feigned calm, "all good?"

Bullet point:

• Mike walking down the street in the midnight
• He was ordered to go to the trading place to trade in goods
• Although he was very reluctant to carry out this transaction, he was helpless at the boss's order.
• Mike saw the man standing on the corner of the street from a distance, the man was wearing a black hat, and the whole person was integrated with the night.
• As he walked in front of the man, Mike became a little nervous, clenched the pistol in his jacket pocket with his left hand, and asked, "Is everything okay?"
• The man didn't answer his question, but asked, "Where's the stuff?"
• Mike opened his right hand, and several packets of drugs lay in his palm
• The man stretched out his hand to take the drug from Mike's hand. At that moment, Mike saw the man's shadow as if a demon was smiling.

This story examined the theme concept of character dialogue. By using dialogue, I am able to demonstrate the character's internal world.  

A similar work is the Lion King, produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation. One of the plots is Simba's talk with Scar, this part contains several character dialogues, which demonstrates the character internal world.

Through this class, I learned that character dialogues can be used to demonstrate the character's internal world and show how the character feels and what they think.
