This work examines the idea of a dog that wants to swap souls with a cat. This would be a great short animation. This is a wonderful medium to explore this story because it would help communicate the ideas in a theatric performance. Here is the story in bullet points:

• A cat and dog are sleep-walking in their owners’ home
• They bump into each other
• After contact, we start to see their dream worlds

as a bubble above them

• They walk into each other’s dreams
• We are then introduced to their dream worlds
• The dog then gets to live their ultimate dreams and gets
• to do all the things it wishes to do as a cat
• It meows as it scratches the sofa and tries grabbing the fish.
• It meows as it chases its tail.
• We are then brought back to the ordinary world and introduced to the dog sleeping peacefully while the cat is whimpering and moving its legs to show that he has a bad dream, revealing that the dog had a bad dream. This is also a bonding moment to make the cat and dog have an appreciation for each other’s lives.
