Animated Narratives-week 4-Penguins

This work examines ideas of Character. My story this week is that the penguins contract together in the snowfield. The lens focuses on the smallest penguin. It has difficulty breathing in ice and snow, so it starts to fantasize and wants to go to the warm desert. Still choose to use storyboard to present.

By drawing more than one penguin to show the group of penguins is also the protagonist of this time. First, let them curl up together to show the cold weather. Then the camera advances to the smallest penguin, our protagonist. Then came to show his thoughts: he was too cold and wanted to go to the warm desert.

My inspiration is a game named Penguin Island. There are many different kinds of penguins in this game, as well as penguins with different dresses. Fully demonstrate the difference of character. With this in mind, I drew penguins of different heights to show their personality.
