Reflection
In this week, I started to understand the story beat from EXTERNALISE and followed the requirements to make a linear story.
By using myself as a first-person lens, I imagined a bustling night market. Flowing crowds and hidden stories. I stopped thinking about the inner activities of each character, and simply wanted to write down their actions. At this time, a A simple story happened, but in order to add interesting events to the story, I let the cat and the fish build a better relationship.
The same work is Linghuajing (菱花镜) created by babilunta. The story depicts a potential story in a linear and wonderful duel.At the beginning, the audience will see the woman in a fighting posture, it will be realized that she is not a human being, and slowly you will find that she is a snake. The description of the environment in the present tense allows me to substitute myself into the story and enhances the reader’s entry into my story. Especially the relationship between the fish and the cat added at the end makes people think about why the fish fly and why the cat shed tears.
Story
We saw a noisy street, and various shops. The smell of food, strange billboards and a small fish stall. A thin kitten in overalls was standing in the corner of the street. The fish stall owner was watching the magnificent shop next to him. The kitten slowly walked to the fish stall and looked up at the fish stall owner’s eyes. The kitten put his hand on the fish, and the cat's hand began to shine. The kitten wiped his tears and left the stall. The little fish began to glow slowly, floated into the air, and disappeared.
The inner story: The little fish and the little cat were sent by God to experience life on earth, while the little fish experienced death and the little cat learned to sympathize.
