Reflection:
This week, we learned it is a good way of thinking to start with the ending and reverse infer the plot.
I try to set a tragic ending to reverse my story and enrich the contradictions of the story. The inspiration of the story is when I was trying to connect some unrelated things together to make a story, I felt like a dream maker. I try to think of a totally new story that is about dreams.
The reference work is "Hotarubi no Mori e" . The whole story begins with a girl's memory. The beginning of the story is actually the end of the whole story. This expression strengthens the sadness of the whole story.
My new story is about dreams. When people get up, they can't help recalling their dreams at night. This is not only the end of the story but also the beginning of the story.
Story:
character: human
Dream Makers
Place: human's brain
The human brain has a central system with different staffs in it. There are several members in the department in charge of dreams, and they sort out what the person has seen and heard recently, and what they have done.
By the time people start to sleep. It's time for these people to work. They had a pet dog, and the pet dog would randomly pick some elements, and the staff would spread them out on the table for brainstorming. Start drawing some mind maps. Since the elements are extracted very randomly, the story in the dream can be very far-fetched or even outrageous. After they made a story, people can walk into the dream and enjoy a new journey.
After enjoying the journey, people returned to the central control room and the staff responsible for memory erasure will selectively process people's memories before people wake up. There are times when people do not want to have their memories erased, and this situation can lead to conflicts and even fights with the staff. This is why people may wake up remembering dreams, or wake up sore.
