This work examines an idea of loneliness, inability to adapt the world, find a soulmates and appropriate circumstances for living.

By using character design and animation of the character I can fully convey inner world of my character by specific movements, speech, facial expressions.

• Theme: CHARACTER 

Showing the inside from outside 

I created my character and analysed interior state, desires and challenges and external characteristics.

• SHORT PRE-STORY

Mysteriously in the jar with green paint the life appeared (because of chemical process through mixing paint ingredients). That’s how this girl came to life, she is part of green paint, but at the same time she doesn’t want to stay there. The problem is outside of the jar with paint she dries up and can die. 

So she leaves the paint for a while but always comes back. Every time after sleeping in green paint she wakes up, climbs out of the jar and whitening her skin from the green paint. With skin it goes always successfully, but her hair stays green, with paint stains. 

When she is outside of the jar she is walking around the studio, dancing and dreaming. But always feels lonely because there is no alive soul anymore in the art room. In other paints there is no creatures, brushes and pencils are also inanimate.

As a reference I chose a short animated film (stop motion) about loneliness among older people by Ben Bradbury.https://youtu.be/AqRUAKO5WHU  It is slightly different in concept, but I liked how everyday life routine is shown there, when you are completely along and there is nobody to share your feelings with.
