This work explores the ways in which design characters' internal worlds can be connected with their appearance and actions. In other words, External Manifestation of the Internal State.
In this story, a soft paper plane desires to fly higher as a real plane, but it needs to overcome its material limitations and achieve its dream of playing in the clouds.
This character is similar to Baymax from Big Hero 6[1](2014); as a healthcare providing nurse to a tech teen, Hiro, he needed to satisfy his current patient until he states "I am satisfied with your care." And Hiro thought he would not feel cured until Baymax can help him revenge after his big brother was killed by arson. The way that Baymax could do was to armor his soft appearance and squeeze himself into a warrior.
By taking feedback from the last thumbnails, It was about converting my illustrator perspective that did the thumbnails full of information on every frame, into a more animation way. Just write down a simple script with one character and no overdo background drawing. On the other hand, this could also make me speed up my production process on narratives.
