The topic of this week's class is EMIS, the external representation of internal states. We know a part of a person from the outside. So working backwards, we can design the image of the main character so that the audience can get a lot of information. In the class summary, we can design the characteristics of a role through its appearance, action, interaction, reaction, dialogue, location and environment. Most importantly, when designing a character, put yourself in the role and ask yourself, what does it want? What does it do? What does the audience learn more about the characters? I was very impressed by the swimming pool shown in class. A man who only dared to swim at night. A man who only dared to swim at night met another woman at the pool who only dared to swim at night. The plot explains the background of their fear of socializing with many people. Finally forced to leave the pool, they discover that each other is only half human. The inverted ending leads to the reason why people are afraid to socialize. Let the audience take a tumble. The events and timing of the reversal were surprising. It's very dramatic. That's what I want to learn.
character design
I designed a character based on this week's theme. A fox wanted to bask in the sun at a nearby lake, but the lake was crocodile territory, so the clever fox disguised himself as a crocodile. The fox also went to the crocodile store to buy soda. Through the story and image, I want to express that this fox is bold, smart and capable, but with a very leisurely personality. So I made the crocodile tail and mouth on the fox made of green cardboard. This shows that the fox is very smart, very capable. The picture will also look a little more harmonious.
