INSPIRATION: What is the world of silicon-based organisms would be like?

1. Why do I have such inspiration：Almost all of the world settings are based on the re creation of reality itself. People seem to be what they should be. Even the aliens are almost the same as us. This is largely because of our biological structure: carbon based organisms. So is it possible to have a world that is different from us at the micro level?
2. Theoretical basis：We are carbon based organisms. Carbon and silicon belong to the same group of elements, so they have similar chemical  properties，so in theory,  silicon-based organisms are possible.
3. Intention: If we can build a complete world view can we create a charming game or  animation derivative?
4. Reference: There are many conjectures on Wiki , but they are fragmented. If we can learn from these materials, the logic will be more reasonable.
