Animated narratives - Week 11 - Short Scenes

This week's theme is lighting, and the first concept that came to my mind was neon, so I decided to try and make a neon-inspired look. I refer to the photos I took of the city night scene before.

This is an animation style experiment, and I think it will definitely bring a completely different feeling if such a picture can be made into a neon animation. In the process of drawing, I can feel that neon lights are able to tell stories. especially, the neon light's colour is full of stimulation. The pictures I drew this time are mainly about my memory of the lively streets of the city.

The related work this time is a musical animation MV. His story is about the finals of the video game competition being held in Paris, France, to promote the charm of Paris to the audience. His animation shows the effect of a super-bright neon night city. Let people who have not been to Paris, France, feel the charm of Paris, and the music makes the event more exciting. If I extend this work, I will make a neon animation in a dark environment. The main content will be to introduce the traditional festival food of my hometown because the lights and celebrations really go well with the lively street food. The audience can feel the atmosphere of the lively festival celebration from the animation.
