This week I continued to made some visual works for the theme - light this week
I made two pixel paintings about my character driving in the city by day or night. During the day, it is a distorted city. At night, the city turns into a group of giant snakes hidden in the shadow. I hope to use this metaphor to describe a part of the opposition between human beings and cities in the process of Modernization: countless people are eaten as the nourishment of urban development. This is also what I see happening in our country and around me now.
I got some inspiration from the works of artist Mark Bradford, especially his work Los moscos( https://www.tate.org.uk/art/artworks/bradford-los-moscos-t13701 ), expressed his views on the unlimited spread of urbanization
