Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity

In response to this week’s theme of movement, I draw several paintings to show the movement in the animation, which helps me better understand the camera languages.

Most of the movement are horizontal move due to the limitation of my painting skill, the stuff such as the Bonfire and little monsters, I am planning to use a puppetry showing way to fall from above or come out from the side, which in order to make it looks more funny. And this idea also comes from the classical animation Tom and Jerry. For other movement design, it got idea from the animation who are you by The Gift. Besides, I was getting inspiration from the in class discussion like how the teacher will grab the child, they can in different color to make the contrast like the black and white background. And the child will cross from the white background to the black background by opening different doors.

On the other hand, the camera view move from the earth to the universal and to follow a near to far relationship, which aims to show the powerful laser light.

As this moving style is a really classical way, the similar visual expression way can be seen in Rick and Morty, Start wars or etc.
