This is from week 1 of animated narratives, where we used the Premise wikis for the first time and we had to create something with an outstanding character, a dynamic action and an interactive location
I used 'a white bear flies through the clouds trying to disguise itself as a cloud.' I decided to take some creative liberty with this and changed the prompt to th bear 'falling in love with a cloud.'
My main focus in this comic strip was to convey the narrative through non-verbal reactions and interactions. The bear is established flying against a misty, cloudy backdrop from a worm's eye view. He spots a bear-shaped cloud, and in his excitement, flies straight through, and cries in devastation to see that it was not a bear.
I used character expression through symbols to denote action and reaction. In his surprise, little sweat beads fly off his head. He falls in love, and his eyes turn into hearts. He is sad, and he cries.
