Week9

This work examines the idea of Time. This topic means we could use mutable time to make differences in the story or settings. The time also could be relative. That could explore a lot for story or settings.

The idea I had was “In the big city, everyone has a watch, everyone is very busy and hurry to work. Animals beside the road slowly lie down, watching those busy people comfortably.”

Big Idea

A multiplayer cooperative game, on PC. 1 player controls the cat, another player controls the people. They have different times in their own world, but they need to cooperate with each other to solve puzzles in the city and get back to home.

Goal

Through communication and cooperation between 2 players, solve puzzles, get keys or props to move on and improve the relationship between animals and people. Experience a different timeline in the game and get a chance to look at the other side's situation in a different perspective.

Game play

The world would seperated into 2 worlds, half for cats with dark tone and the other half is for people with light tone. 2 players control cats and people separately and must cooperate to solve problems. When they solve one puzzle they could get a key to move on to the next part and they would raise the relationship between cats and people. By keeping solving puzzles and raising the relationship they could reduce the time differences. The final area they would have nearly no differences for times and get together, the 2 worlds would combine to 1 world.

How have you used your theme to shape the design of your interaction?

Multiplayer Cooperation, solve puzzles, social communication, time differences and body type differences.
