Animated Narratives 2022 S1 - Week 3

This week's topic is about 'how to build a character'
My story is 'A low battery phone trying to break free of its charger'. After the class, I saw a lot of interesting examples.
I needed to think about 2 core questions, why and what was happening. The phone needed to be charged, but why and how did it break free.
I identified a few elements when I started drawing my character and I created my character from 'charging needs to be charged to start with'.
"How to Create Characters" is a great tutorial and the film takes a cinematic perspective to build a complete character. It also gave me a lot of inspiration.
Throughout the week I have learnt how to build a unique character from existing material, but I still need to do more exercises to build a complete backstory and character
