This week, we study and experienced the narrative and the emotion(feeling) change in the film. We see some example of how them change in different plot in a work. How to engage the audience and moved them was a interesting part in the animation narrative.
This work was examining the the bullet point, and try to improve my week2 work.
I did some bullet point of another story which was link with my week 2 idea :
topic: the little mouse hope to back home.
Bullet point:
1. A homeless little mouse.
2. The little mouse will meet danger.
3. He is a warm and kind mouse.
4. His friend will help him.
5. His home(house) was be demolished,he was so sad, he crying.
6. But his family find him.
7. He will find a new home with his family in the ending.
8. In this world, it has many elf which living with human, they are the “friend” who help little mouse come back home. All of characters in this story can’t speak human’s language, but they have their own communication mode.
9. Before he come arrived “home” . The little mouse didn’t know his house was demolishing.
-What does your character want?
Back home
-What is in the way of their desire? What is the obstacle? This might be external or internal?
External problem, he would meet dangers and problem
-What are they willing to do to get what they want?
Brave, adventure.
Reference:
this idea was reference to the novel “the cricket in Time square”(author:George Selden, animate link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gx_wSqTLRUI), this animate was about the begging of this novel(story), it told us why the cricket arrive the Time square, and who is cricket’s friend.
Also I got some idea from The animate,”Lost & Found” (link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35i4zTky9pI), this animate has an emotional performance.
Reflection:
by thinking of the ”Lost & Found”,I decide to enrich the story, and add some accidents to make characters has more effective fluctuation. So,in point 8, the little mouse didn’t know his house was demolishing before he come back. I hope it could be a turning point for emotion.
