Animated Narrative Week 3

This week’s class is mainly about reverse the process of making a story, you know the ending and you turn back to figure out how can the ending happen. During the class, there is one point that really attracted my notice and made me want to explore something which is the audience’s level of knowledge.

This work examines ideas of the audience’s level of knowledge. By providing three different audience positions which are Audience superior positions, Audience's equal position and Audience inferior position to one same story to see what differences between them, and how can those different points of view emotions. A similar idea can be found in the movie ‘crazy stone’, which goes through the story from every character’s point of view. After few days, I was thinking about why it has to have the same ending. Because of that thought, I changed the ending of those scenes, the story actually becomes more reasonable and it shows how different audience positions can influence the story itself.
