Overview: Get Water is a decrypt game that the player to find the point that the let the water get out from the rusty tap by following the sound in the game. There are only few button to interact with the game. The game will have several level with different difficulty. In the more difficult level, the player will hard to figure out which way to make the water out.
Explanation:
The sound will be the key element of this game where it provides the clues to the player. Player can analysis that they are in what kind of situation. Basically, the sound can be divided into two parts. One is the sound of rusty tap, which present how hard the player need to click the button to twist the tap. The more sharp sound needs more click to twict the tap. The other sound is the sound of water. The sound will be present in different channel and volume to give the clues about how close between the player and the water. As the difficulty goes up, there will be other noise in the game.
There are four buttons to control, which similar to the arrow keys on the keyboard. The player uses the button to control which side to twist the tap. Also, because of the rusty tap, the movement of twist the tap will be much difficult to control in the area that is setting as the limescale area. There are two buttons to control the movement, to twist the tap clockwise or anti-clockwise. The other two buttons is for the player use when they are close to the point to success, which is just like the real rusty tap that something the tap needs some tricks to make the water out, such as press or pull. If the player wants to challenge the harder level, the number of times to press or pull will be limit, which means the player has less chance to give the guess a try.
Treatment:
The screen will show a dark, old bathroom with a rusty tag at the center of the screen. And there is a hand hold on the top of the tag. Each time the player push the left or right button, the hand will go with the same movement. If the tag now is in the limescale area which is hard to twist, the hand will present with the animation of hard to twist. If the player feels the water is close and try to press the tag or pull the tag, the tag and the hand will present the animation follow instruction from the player. Once the player open the tag and the water runs out, the sound of water will be like water flow and the water flow animation will be set active.
