An observation of facial expression

Method:I want to participate in my observation thus I observed people's facial expressions by sitting on the stairs in front of the male toilet. I first roughly sketch the facial expressions of people who look at me inanticipated, then made sculptures combining my impression and the sketching, further expand the expression into a 3-d exageration, while later I would draw illustrations of the expressions again.

Response: During my 20 minutes of observation, around ten people went pass and I recorded 6 of the more impressive expressions. And as I was drawing, I figured out a pattern of those who experience such encounter. People would show a slight suprise when seeing me so their eyelid would raise while the rest of the face remains the same. Yet people were generally try to remain calm and to look indifferent so their facial expression returned to normal after a small window.
