In late 2015 I prototyped an approachable 3D construction tool. The tool provides an environment in which it is intuitive and fun to create basic 3D models, these models can then be exported and used in games or other projects. Designing the tool provided me an opportunity to consider how user interaction for 3D construction might be simplified conceptually, and incorporates novel approaches to colour palettes, interactive 3D construction, and frame-by-frame animation within the models. Following my work on this prototype I explored similar concepts in Virtual Reality with my Fun VR Construction Tool prototype, and later Masterpiece Mammoth prototype.
