Building off of yesterday's inquiry, I spent today brainstorming possible designs for comic-cutscene layouts, and how they might animate/be made interactive/etc.
While I also did a few rough sketches of my characters as a warm up in the morning, I have chosen not to focus on fleshing out their designs for this workshop. I would prefer to focus on experimenting with layout, code and mechanics, as opposed to character design.
Chris has advised I take a step back and re-familiarize myself with AGS as a whole, as knowing how the code all hangs together could inspire new vfx/interactions. Seems like a solid idea so that's likely what I'll be doing over the next two days!
Just. Gotta finish my production schedule first.
