Context:
This week I made up a lot of lessons about the storyboard. Shooting distance, shooting direction, shooting height, lens movement, montage, axis rules. By learning this basic knowledge, I found that my storyboard needs to be revised again. So I redesigned it. On this basis, I also made some changes in the story, enriching some details.
Inquiry: How to use hints and foreshadowing to drive the narrative.
Motivation:
Through communication with teachers, it seems that the combination of aesthetics and sound can not become an inquiry direction. I began to rethink that inquiry could fit my story. I think my story is suspenseful, because, in my opinion, the wooden ball is irrelevant to the stars, which may become the highlight of my story. So I set my inquiry into how to use suspense to promote story narration.
Method:
I've been drawing storyboards and character designs with PS.
Impacts:
Through the study of storyboard, my storyboard is much more professional than before. But through communication with the teacher, my story still has some problems. Such as why it is about stars and wooden balls, and what my story really wants to express. I found that I didn't want to express the central idea at all. I still just wanted to make a beautiful light and shade reversal. I'm thinking about the story again (it's sad)
