Week 8 focus on lod and tesselation
Using the GPU to tessellate and dynamically create the grass means that a lot of area can be covered while using fairly tight resource
The demo shown here shows as you get closer to the terrain the number of grass and polygons in that area is increased but most importantly the underlying simple low poly look is maintained.
Contiuing from the previous week the grass can be apllied across all the terrain or via a colour map baked into the terrain mesh itself
