This week I continued to explore some different textures in Substance Painter, researched post modern and 90s architecture, the vibe of the 90s era and began to sketch out ideas for building shapes, before learning the UI of Unreal Engine and starting to work out a basic understanding of how to import textures, models and editing materials (although this will be the key focus heading into week 6) after some more fun troubleshooting a few things and watching loads of tutorials in order to work out how to do things.
Heading into week 6, I want to have a solid understanding of jumping between Substance and UE4, be able to create some good materials through UE and importing some of the previous tests through Substance from Maya models to see how these are effected or enhanced visually with lighting.
