Week 9
I first made a story about dogs. The dog breed I selected is poodle. Because I think poodle has the characteristics of the city, and poodle is elegant and noble. My assumption is that the poodle living in the city sits gracefully on the tram. Then in the carriage, I saw the dog running freely in the forest (natural environment) outside the window. Why am I doing this because I want to show the relationship between cities and animals through the different characteristics of the protagonist and the contrast between nature and cities.
Here is a storyboard and paintings I made.
Week 10
After the presentation, Kate and classmates gave me different opinions. For storytelling, simple and effective ideas should be kept. Show animals and environment (the relationship between cities and native habitats) by living the same animal in different environments.
In the tenth week I drew a different environment in the possum story.
-Forest, the original habitat of possum
-Transition zone, between forest and city
-In the park, I drew the trash can from my previous homework. The inspiration is also from the photos I took of the possum drill trash can.
