Inquiry: 

I want to explore about negative space in a closed environment through the movements of small circles/particles in a black and white composition.

I want to explore this by doing a 2D animation. The particles/ small circles will be trapped inside an abstract shape. They are trying to escape. The idea of the black and white composition helps me explore the negative space and movement.

Question:

How can negative space be explored in terms of movements of particles in a black and white closed environment composition? How can I play with the black and white composition to add an effect of trapped particles in a closed area?
