Roger Kilimanjaro is a 3D artist whose work focuses on making loops with 3D animation, which is what I would be aiming for my folio in Studio 1.
Looking for different artists and references on YouTube, I found his videos where he shows the whole process behind one of his projects, which involves both modeling and rendering, and what stands out most about his work is the simulation of fluids and different materials, which makes the animation look quite realistic.
In addition to this, the combination of geometric patterns and the cyclical nature of the loops produce a hypnotic result, added to the use of complementary color combinations that make the objects stand out from the background, in addition to gold accents which generates a sober and elegant sensation.

Forge & Morrow is an Australian CGI and 3D illustration studio. Their works have been featured on platforms such as Behance, where they have a wide portfolio of 3D projects. Finding them this week was timely since it coincided with the theme seen in our Character, Place and Simulation class called “Found Objects”.
The compositions they make are the result of an exercise where they combine different objects and products, and then transform them into a single composition to convey a message that works together. In their project called “Balance”, the composition shows the balance between two components of people's lives: work and life. The word "work" consists of pencils, pens and objects that are part of a generic desk in an office. The word "life" is made up of elements such as food, a sport, children’s objects, among others. All these elements are explicitly displayed and allow the message to be effectively transmitted.
