1. Leticia Gillett (leticiagillett.com)
Leticia Gillett is an experienced character artist currently working for Netflix Animation. She specializes in stylized character creation and has a range of amazing 3D models on her website. She mainly has stylized characters in various poses and with different expressions displayed there. I can learn a lot from her work, looking at her portfolio, I can try and learn different ways to make a character more appealing. I can use her characters as a reference to create my characters with similar facial expressions. I can even try and copy her characters to get more familiar with the tools and software in which it was made.
2. Duc (Phil) Nguyen (aeskawa.artstation.com)
Duc Nguyen is a freelance character artist like Leticia, but he mostly works with realistic characters. His models mostly have detailed facial features that can be found in a real human face, like wrinkles and scars. His models also have realistic-looking hair, which I'd love to learn how to create. Looking at his work, I would like to learn the facial structures of a realistic human face. I would like to learn how the wrinkles form when creating different facial expressions and like with Leticia, I would like to use Duc's characters as a reference, as I learn how to model characters.
3. Micheal Pavlovich (michaelpavlovich.artstation.com)
Micheal Pavlovich's youtube page has a lot of tutorials related to Zbrush. He has tutorials ranging from introduction to the software to new updates on the software, helping people from all skill levels. He has several playlists focusing on learning how to use Zbrush, which is going to be helpful to me, as I am a beginner and am learning the how to's of the software. I would like to follow a couple of his playlists to get a general idea of getting around Zbrush before starting to create a facial model. Along with tutorials, he also has a few of his stylized character models in his ArtStation profile. I can use these as a reference to learn how he designs his characters and how he poses them to make it look interesting. He also has videos about how he sculpts his characters, which I can use to get familiar with how he works and how he thinks when creating one of his characters.
