The Secret of Kells

The Secret of Kells is a 2009 fantasy film. This film imagines the origins of the Kells, a lacquered manuscript of the Bible, which has become the national treasure of Ireland. The reason why this animation impressed me is that there is no perspective in the picture, which reminds me of a lot of Chinese animation that is relatively old, At the same time, the experience of using the form of murals to express characters is also amazing. This work informs us that the picture style of the animation can refer to the existing art style, such a picture style will make the animation more interesting.

Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash

Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash is a Japanese light novel series written by Ao Jūmonji. This novel was adapted into a 12-episode anime television series that ran from January to March 2016 The story follows a group of people who suddenly find themselves in a fantasy world with no memories from before their arrival, and chronicles their struggles to survive and make a life for themselves as goblin slayers. In the beginning, I was attracted by its rare watercolour style. This work informs us that even in the style of watercolour painting, we can make the light and shadow very obvious.
