Wings

Wings is a sweet animated short-A mouse who has always wanted to fly, a bird with a broken wing, and a blossoming friendship through the seasons. The usage of environment employed in the storytelling is brilliant. It is very clever to use autumn-winter-spring in telling the story of the bird and the mouse. This work informs me the way to use simple watercolour pictures to animate. The picture does not need to be too complicated; it can also make the whole animation very interesting.

Ernest & Celestine

Ernest & Celestine is a 2012 Franco-Belgian animated comedy-drama film, which talks about the story of an unlikely friendship between a bear, Ernest, and a young mouse named Celestine. This movie is a watercolour-style movie. Freshness and beauty are the main styles of this movie. At the same time, it is also the main style of the whole story. This style was shown at the beginning of the film. This work informs me of some techniques for making watercolour-style animations-try not to fill the screen with objects, leave a part of the blank, and do not need to have too many bright colours.
