Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity

1 RATIONALE: Intention

In the next few weeks, I will continue to study frame-by-frame animation and PBR materials. I will learn to use toon boom and After effects for frame-by-frame animation. Use Maya and substance painter to make some scenes and objects. If there is a chance, I will learn to use Zbrush to work with Maya to make models.

2 CONTEXT: Field

In the next few weeks, I will do some exercises on frame-by-frame animation and some game models.

Recently I really like the work of Jing Zhang who is a Painter and 3d artist, He often assists him in drawing by making 3D models. I really appreciate his painting style.

3 METHOD: Conceptual, Technical, Craft & Management

In the past few weeks, I still focus on frame-by-frame animation production and 3D model production and rendering exercises. I will continue to study the laws of motion and use toon boom to create some frame-by-frame animations. For the production of three-dimensional models, I will learn to use Maya to make models (instead of 3ds max, which I usually use). At the same time, the study of PBR materials is conducive to my future study of game engines.

4 PRODUCTION: Tools

For 2d animation, I will use adobe after effect and toon boom harmony

For rendering exercises, I will use Maya and substance painter (Rizom UV and Marmoset Toolbag may be used if necessary)
