Theme: Tinkering
Method: I decided to approach tinkering in terms of iteration and tackling a way of animating I would usually never do. I decided to go away from my comfort zone and see how much my animation degraded.
Context: I came up with this idea after looking at the examples and explanations Brendan gave in class.
Response: The whole animation came out pretty terrible which was to be expected since it was out of my territory. Animating at 60fps was a struggle (especially given the limited time) as no matter how many frames I added, the animation would be too quick. Animating with a mouse was also troublesome and I noticed my hand started to cramp as I went on with the exercise. It didn’t help that I was using a school mouse I was unfamiliar with.

This also currently relates to my work as my research direction for Research Methods pertains to the study of movement in animation and how it portrays real world physics + evoke certain emotions from us.

I've also used that direction to help kickstart the theme for my Studio 3.
