Theme: Play and Observation
Method: I took a few videos on the way home after class and them into AfterEffect, combined them with the animated png sequences 'tiny man', 'purple arrow', 'jumping string' and 'pumping square', and created this short piece. I used motion tracking in the last scene.

While I searched for the tutorials about live action animation, I found these examples are interesting and I would like to learn and try.
Response: The mood is what I observed for this response. The animations within the footage represent my mood while walking through those scenes and places.
The tiny blue man slides and hanging on the handrail, little purple arrow and the jumping string mean that I wanted to go home so I can relax. The pumping square floating on the air means that the metro construction keeps making noisy and making the Collin St doesn't look good anymore which is annoying.
Reflection:
When I first looked at Live action animation I thought it is amazing and might be difficult to make it. Furthermore, it was the thing I never try and I wanted to try it someday and I found it is a good chance to learn and use it in this response. I searched for the tutorials and I found those examples are interesting and fun, so I tried them step by step. The process wasn't so hard as I imagined, just that I struggled a bit when I tried to export png transparent sequences from ToonBoom, and the timing of animations and videos couldn't sync after I imported them into the After Effect, but they worked well after I changed all of the frame rate settings into 24 frames. Overall I'm satisfied with my work.
