Theme:For this week's theme Place, many scenic interactive installations were very popular. In my city, there were many giant flowers and piano steps that could make sounds. These are all experiments of play place, in these installations, people's interaction is very frequent and the willingness to interact is very strong, which can be seen as the designer's consciousness directly interacting with the visiting public, which is a very interesting theme for me.

Context: I inspired by a story.In order to test which one of his three students is the smartest, a teacher gave each of them ten coins and asked them to find a way to buy something that could fill a huge space with ten coins. The first student bought a lot of cotton. But the room was only a little more than half filled. The second student was the cheapest straw, but only ten pennies of straw could fill two-thirds of the room. The last student closed the window and door tightly. The whole room was suddenly pitch black. At this time, the student took out a candle he had bought for only a penny. He lit the candle with a match, and suddenly a dim candlelight lit up in the dark room. Although the candlelight was weak, it illuminated every corner of the room. A third student managed to fill the room with just a penny.SO in this work I use light to fill the place, and design them have some interactive point, such like different pattern match suitable music. People can enjoy this place with music and this atmosphere, and change them with their mood.

Method:
1.Choice paper and topic
2.Cut the pattern on the paper, and cut them into strips(cut machine is not deep enough)
3.Stick the strips together and make them into cylindrical without bottom
4.Open the light in the dark house.

Reflection:
This time the theme was place, and then in such a theme that seemed to consume a lot of material and energy to accomplish, it did bother me at first because in such a theme and the examples that the teacher showed us in class, it required a relatively large venue to do it and some more specialized equipment to create the interaction, so it caused me some trouble, but later I Suddenly I remembered a fable I read as a child, where the wisest one of the disciples filled the room with the light of a candle. So I thought of using the light source to create an interactive media work, in many parties and occasions have used the color of light, and mask to create different light and shadow to achieve a different atmosphere, with music can make people in a whole place. In this assignment, I used cardboard and embossing machine to make a column, paired with lights and different background music to make them into a set, so as to create a place where people can feel very involved and immersed in the atmosphere. In the same way, for example, in the color scheme of the picture, low saturated colors may make people blend in more, while high saturated colors are brighter, which is my derivative idea in this work. In this work, the coconut tree print with the sound of the sea can instantly bring people back to the summer island and make them feel relaxed. In this work, I also reflected that people have a certain impression of a certain kind of music and a certain kind of pattern, or a certain kind of scene, and when we need to create an atmosphere, we need to consider these factors, for example, passionate summer and cold snowflakes do not match. ADP has allowed me to try different forms of interpreting a theme, but all of them are very interesting and give me more new fields to work with. I really like the App course in this time, it reminds me of the last Kaleidoscope work, the same is time loop, these works can be looped for a long time, but how to keep them in a long time loop a music a movement without boring, this is what I need to consider in the future. A time-loop piece must have an interface that connects the entrance and exit between the two loops, and making sure that the entrance and exit are smooth is the key to making a time-loop piece. It's a good point to find out the problematic areas of my thinking and the lack of technical skills in each work, because it can make people improve.In this work, I reflected that in many fables there are more than stories, and their truths are really useful. The most important point in creating a place is actually the atmosphere and the point where people can interact, not necessarily to choose a large scene or to spend a lot of money to produce a work, the meaning of the work itself is the most important, and how to meet the theme is not necessarily the reality of the place, perhaps a simple painting and graffiti can also interpret the theme. When it comes to a more ambitious theme, perhaps a change of thought will make it easier for you.
