In response to the theme of found objects I created a hippo stamp toy in Unity using photos of my sister's hippo collection. By giving the player the freedom to arrange the various hippos in their own zoo, I am able to emphasize the absurd disconnect between a vast toy collection and the endangered animal they represent. I am inspired by the work of the LovePunks https://vimeo.com/40640424 that use edited photos to play off and reconceptualise their environment and themselves in exaggerated or fantastical ways.
