For todays class we were given the task of over-observing something in our environment.
I chose to focus on the flame of a candle sitting on my desk.
I focused mainly on the form and movements of the candle and figure out how to draw its form in a more transformative manner, as well as amplifying its colours and general aesthetics.
I ended up drawing a multitude of different forms that the candle flame took, it was very nice to draw without any major planning or sketch and to just work with the subject in a more raw, straight ahead manner.
