In response to the week’s theme of Rules and Force. I made a short animation that shows the As the position of the object changes, there will be corresponding feedback. According to this rule, the eyeball will have different background colors and special effects in different positions. For example, as shown in the animation I made, the background of the eyeballs upward is yellow, and the corresponding special effects will also appear. I think highlighting the rules can bring rhythm. Different people will imagine different background music or sound effects in their minds when seeing the animation. Similar themes are present in Netflix, In which Sweet Home OST.
In response to the week's theme of Environment, I made a small animation to express the changes of ingredients in an environment with flame temperature. I would like to highlight the strength of the flame determines the maturity of the ingredients and the changes in the surrounding environment. The stronger the flame, the color of the food changes, and the denser the smoke. Similar themes are present in Disney+ work, in which Roughin' It | A Mickey Mouse Cartoon | Disney Shorts. Mickey attracted other animals while grilling.
In response to the week's theme of Time, I made a short animation that shows the swimming jellyfish is under the influence of magic. As time slows down, the swimming speed also becomes slow. I used Procreate to made the animation. At first, the three jellyfish moved upstream at a normal speed, and the sudden magic slowed down the time, and then the jellyfish were also affected. Similar themes are present in EA's work, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Jedi can use force to slow down the enemy's movements without being affected by themselves.
In response to the theme of Object-Oriented Ontology, I made a short animation that shows the A drop of water extinguished an erupting volcano, using Procreate. The inspiration for the work comes from the formation of amber. Gum dripping from the tree falls and wraps insects or birds, then they form fossils over time. I used water droplets instead of gum and used a free-fall method. The water droplets passed through the leaves to express that it was small and finally extinguished the volcano. The encounter of two objects with very different volumes has produced some unreasonable results. Similar themes are present in Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan for Hulu, in which Solar Opposites. In the plot, aliens use shrink guns to make humans smaller than insects.
In response to the theme of Place, I made a Short animation that shows the process of a ball bouncing in a place, using Procreate. By using the animation I can express Physical feedback from the ball hitting the wall. When the ball touches the wall, a flash will come out. After two rebounds, the ball will hit the glass and fly out of the window. These coherent actions can associate different stories, such as who trow the ball, is that a child? will his mother punish him? it gives lots of images. Similar work has been produced by Cinematronics, Full Tilt! Pinball is the classic pinball game.
