Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity

This is a submission for Week 9 of CPS.

In response to the theme of Character, Environment and Events, I wrote a synopsis of a story I have been working on and used the opportunity to develop a character in the story with respect to the world.

By flushing out the world a little further along with the characters with respect to their environment so I showed that there is cycle for character, events and environment where they constantly affect each other.

Similar work has been produced by Quantic Dream, whose work Detroit: Become Human explores this theme by creating a compelling story where the environment gives rise to character motivation and actions which in turn affects the environment. I used this story as an inspiration to mainly create the world of the story.

Similar work has been produced by Hajime Isayam, whose work Attack on Titan gave me inspiration as to how I will write the human character in my story. The main character of that show, Eren Jeager, is a product of his environment, where he is trapped in a city covered by walls due to outside forces. He yearns for freedom and wants to explore the world. His decisions and actions in his life helps him learn about the outside world, become stronger and take actions which in turn affects the world he lives in. By not giving too much away, he becomes an incredibly complex character where his goals remain the same, but also makes him the thing he swore to eradicate to assure the preservation of his loved ones.

Please note: I started working the setup of the world (refer to the Word document) in the Animated Narratives class, but I did update and change plot points of it for this submission. Everything else I worked on in this class for this week.
