The previous experiment focusing on following my instinct to draw lines. However, the animated lines sometimes come up from the unexpecting area and not easy for the audience to follow.
In the test version of c.1, I considered about the audience perspective, instead of using multiple animated lines, I focused on few indicating lines to lead the audience to view the animated lines travel in 3-dimensional space. While drawing the animated lines, I still freed out my movements to draw lines by following the music rhythm and melody. However, in the tension point, first I used two lines to draw the space that the following animated strong animated lines. And suddenly strong thick lines traveled through the audience that simulated the strong movements of wind.
In c.4, I drew the indicator that the audience suggested to stand and the indicator lines that suggested audience where the animation starts.
The process of making version c.1 and c.3 were more direct and allowed me to walk freely to draw the lines. I also tried to use the pressure of the controllers to represent different thickness or lines. I was allowed to draw longer segments of animations without stopping the process.
In version d.3, instead of using one leading lines, I drew the animation as an environmental element which allowed the animations surrounded the audience. The audience can view by any angels. The beginning of animations, I drew short and fast lines that followed the rhythm, and the effects look like falling rains or snows, which are gentle but also rapid.
The middle part of the animations are presented as the c.1 and c.4, but the strong animated lines travel in two different directions in the separated parts of the music.
The process of version d.3 was more repetitive movements. To fill the space of the animated lines, I had to repeat the short segment of music and continually adding animations. In this process, I tried to turn around to draw different angles of the animations.
