This week i tried to use the character's attack animations to experiment with timing, and the differences in feel that could make for a player. The roller is an inherently heavy creature, and each of its movements has a lot of power behind it. Initial tests felt a bit slower than what i wanted, and squishing the action between the anticipation and recovery really helped increase that impact feel.
