After the 12 week cycle of Illusion of Life I feel that the weekly exercises in some sort of way help me understand concepts of animation and movement a lot more than before, even though I feel that the Exercises that most help me shape my Idea the best where Week 4 sound and animation, Week 8 Metamorphosis, Week 9 Own practice and Reflection and Week 10 Stillness; each exercises talking a different aspect in animation help by better understanding that concept or by coming up with ideas that I could use for my final outcome, by receiving feedback of the object made in that exercise or honing on a particular skill tackle in the exercise like using Blender better and Unity, between other stuff.

For this semester was a different semester for me, I couldn’t go to the weekly lectures on Tuesdays like always because I was working does days, but I still was as involve in the studio as much as I could, I volunteered  to help one of peers Nick Margerison with his studio 2 work of gamifying the structure of one of the others schools at RMIT, my role was to give feedback every week for the first 4 to 5 weeks of this semester helping him develop his tabletop game and helping him to give him new ideas and play the game and tell him what worked for me, I participated in the studio folio presentations to support and see their work and gave some feedback if I could and stay till the end to support my peers as best as I could, I joined the VR club this semester even though I cannot go every Wednesday afternoon because of work purposes, I tried to go every time I can to learn new stuff with VR, that is one of the many reasons I applied for the VR workshop and can’t wait to do it. At the same time Amanda, Nick, Sahaj ,Hizi and I where always helping each other with unity related stuff.

I participated in the Magi game night that Homie hosted , in Illusion of Life I always try to stay to the end of the presentations all day to give feedback and support my peers like in the studio one, I keep my attendance active in the studio as much as I can. I try and contribute to my fellow peers with feedback and help. I organized a playtesting of my game one day in the studio to help me playtest my game and give me feedback (don’t know if it counts), I participated in Homie’s showcasing of his work and help him record some footage for his documentary that he is submitting in his studio project . I would give myself a 14 out of 15, as I humbly try and improve my engagement within the cohort.
