Hi there! My name is Daien Lyu, this is the Folio Plan 1.

1. Rationale: Intention
Exploration and Experiment - Research on the fine line between simplism and Skeuomorphism via 2D animation illustration and the proper recognizable elements helping to form the object. I plan to create 3 animation scenes.
Concept - How simple the visuals can be that will make audience unrecognizable and What elements (signifier) can make audience instantly recognize.

2. Context: Field
Fields - Interactive Design, Icon Design, Sound Design
Representatives - "Tokyo 2020 Olympics Sport Pictograms Animation": a icon icon bundle which dynamically improves the sports streaming interface and promotional materials. The animation fluently enriches the detail by following the directional motion.

3. Method:
Interact by phased transitioning - Design a plot with storyboards
Precisional drawing -
Collab between Illustrator and Photoshop to cohesively attach textures

4. Production
Timeline & Tools -
 Week 1 & 2: Moodboarding, defining what objects will be imported (Figma & Illustrator)
 Week 3: Sketching up & Wireframe (Figma)
 Week 4 & 5: Registering rough animations, or emergently switching the objects if not good-looking enough (After Effects)
 Week 6: Refinement, output & reflection (Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro & Word if applicable?)

5. Outcome
The final form of the work is set to be a music player app. It also can be adapted to a commerical.
