Trying the Video Trigger tool that comes with VPT again to see if I can get it working. After a lot of fiddling around and some help from Homie, finally got it to work. In the Video Trigger tool, you can set zones within the image from the camera feed to detect motion. The program interface isn't the most intuitive and user-friendly, which makes it really hard to create anything quickly.
Two scenarios I tested:
Although I could kind of get it working, I couldn't figure out how to fade in/out videos and layers to the make the transitions smoother. Will ask around at the projection club next week to see if anyone else has any ideas.
