A thought cloud for deciding on a project for studio 1. 

This semester I will focus on practicing in mediums I've wanted to explore, using and polishing fundamentals I've learned working in 2D. I will be teaching myself basic game design, 3D rendering, minor 3D model rigging,  a basic understanding of physics engines and how to animate in a 3D space, using blender and introducing myself to unity. If I can get access to VR hardware before the end of semester, I will also attempt to incorporate VR aspects. 

My aim, at this point, is to build an interactive arm which throws balls of various weights. It's simple but it involves a lot of new tools for me. My hope is to give myself a sense of what I can work with for future work, so I don't inherently limit myself to the 2D animation thought process and can better situate future works in deliberate medium contexts.
