Ultimately a work in progress...the next half of the animation to come over the summer break I hope. 

this semester was a wrestle with narrative more than anything. i am pleased with the progress of my project, despite the fact it is not finished. there were a lot of false starts, however all of them eventually coalesced into a cohesive container. i will definitely finish this animation over the semester break- if not next semester.  i have learned how much the background art can lift an animation, and gained more control over weight and gravity. i sank too much time into one walk cycle that ended up not making it into the current iteration of the narrative, and i think i would be better served by the ‘finished, not perfect’ mentality in the future, with the idea that the lessons learned do not need to be immediately implemented and do not neccessite a do-over on the most recent clip, instead i need to carry it forward into future work.
