This whole week I've been struggling a lot with figuring out liquid simulation.. Basically I'm trying to create a water ripple effect when the sphere falls down. A mistake I did was using mantaflow (blender fluid simulation) to ccreate a water simulation based on heavy and massive amount of particles to recreate water splashing. But for some reason, I just couldn't get it right. I tried lowering the particle seed amount but it's doesn't look like water, and when I tried increasing the count, my computer couldn't handle it. The whole week I was stuck with this scene where I couldn't find a way.

Fortunately, I ended up asking the Studio 2 teams chat and Justin Jattke helped me by redirecting my method. Instead of using particle simulations for water, I used dynamic paint for water simulation, and it worked WONDERS.

I'm currently making the scene where the particles begin to fade and the first stage of grief begins with sadness, thus falling down to a dark pit underwater.
