While I really enjoyed the previous test I realised that forcing each ‘actor’ to only listen to one instrument and making them act as it felt a lot less free and fluid than what I was hoping for.
I ran another test, now using jazz music and asking each ‘player’ to close their eyes this time and ‘feel’ the music, bringing in a bit of the idea of synesthesia. I used the phrase ‘dance with the pen’, which yielded more positive responses from the players. I then composited each animation together.
