Studio 2 _ Animation Test & Inquiry

For my studio 2, I am making a short animated film that the time crossed many years.  I want to find how can I tell a story last years within three minutes in animation, in order to help my filed to explore possibilities in using montage in animation to represent the passing time.

This is a 3-minute short film. The working title is The Two Little Dwarfs. The story is about two little dwarfs fall in love with each other in a wheat field.  They always talk in the wheat field. They grow older together until one day one of the little dwarfs become sick and pass away. It is the time all the wheat has been mowed. Another little dwarf picks up two golden ears and put it on her friend's bed and waited for wheat to start growing, because they said that wheat could grow even after years. 

Regarding to the passing time, the work has been influenced by Father and Daughter (2000) by Michael Dudok de Wit.
